Construction Security in operation

Cover arranged to your hours, not ours

Construction Security

Theft costs you the plant. Delay costs you the programme.

On a construction site the loss is rarely just the copper or the tools. It is the week the programme slips while you wait for a replacement, and the excess you pay before the claim settles.

We secure sites from enabling works through to handover: controlling the gate, checking deliveries in and out, patrolling compounds and storage areas after hours, and keeping the site log that proves who was on site and when.

Officers are briefed on site rules, not just security rules — PPE, permit systems, exclusion zones and induction requirements — so they support your site management rather than working around it.

Scope

What the contract covers

Cover is priced against the phase of the build, so you are not paying peak-programme rates during groundworks.

Gatehouse and site access

Controlled entry for operatives, subcontractors, deliveries and visitors, with induction checks and full site log maintained through the shift.

Perimeter and compound patrols

Hoarding integrity checks, compound and container patrols, plant and fuel security, and checks of storage areas after hours.

Out-of-hours and shutdown cover

Nights, weekends, bank holidays and Christmas shutdowns — the windows when most site theft actually happens.

Fire and safety awareness

Officers trained to spot hot works left unattended, blocked escape routes and unsecured excavations, and to escalate immediately.

Delivery and vehicle checks

Booking-in, load checks against paperwork, and out-gate checks that make walking materials off site materially harder.

Temporary CCTV liaison

Where towers or temporary systems are in place, officers monitor and respond, and log activations against the site record.

How we deploy

From first call to first shift

STEP 01

Pre-start survey

Ideally before hoarding goes up — we look at gate positions, storage, lighting and neighbouring access.

STEP 02

Site-specific instructions

Assignment instructions align with your site rules, induction process and emergency procedures.

STEP 03

Phased cover

Officer numbers scale with the programme: heavier during fit-out and high-value deliveries, lighter during quiet phases.

STEP 04

Weekly reporting

Occurrence logs, gate records and incident reports issued weekly, or daily during high-risk phases.
