Event Security

Crowd safety is planned weeks before it is delivered

An event either has a plan for the crowd or it has a queue that becomes a problem. Most incidents at events trace back to a decision made on paper, not on the night.

We work with organisers, venues and local authorities on the security element of the event plan — entry and search arrangements, capacity and pinch points, accreditation, incident escalation and egress — and then supply the licensed officers and stewards who deliver it.

That covers private functions and corporate events through to festivals, sports fixtures and public gatherings, whether you need six people or sixty.

Scope

What the contract covers

Numbers are built from the risk assessment and licensing conditions, not from a rate card — so you are not paying for officers standing idle.

Crowd management

Flow planning at entrances, bars, stages and exits, with officers positioned against known pinch points rather than spread evenly.

Accreditation and access

Wristbanding, pass checks, backstage and VIP control, and enforcement of restricted areas throughout the event.

Search and entry

Proportionate, lawful searching at entry, refusal procedures, and handling of prohibited items in line with venue policy.

Incident and emergency response

Officers briefed on the event's emergency plan, evacuation routes and medical liaison, with a clear escalation chain.

Steward and supervisor teams

Supervisors on radio with your event control, so you deal with one point of contact rather than twenty individuals.

Egress and dispersal

The part most plans under-cook — managing exit flow, transport interfaces and dispersal so the event ends as safely as it started.

How we deploy

From first call to first shift

STEP 01

Brief and site visit

We visit the venue, review capacity, entrances, licensing conditions and any conditions imposed by the authorities.

STEP 02

Security plan

We produce the security element of the event plan — positions, numbers, timings, radio protocol and escalation.

STEP 03

Team briefing

Every officer and steward is briefed on site before doors, with position cards and the emergency plan.

STEP 04

Debrief

A written debrief after the event covering incidents, near-misses and what we would change next time.
